Ear Playing Research

This pilot study was completed in the Spring of 2019 as part of a quantitative research class. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of aural or visual learning conditions on participants' ability to remember short melodies.  

Tension and Paradox: A Philosophy of Music Education 

This paper was completed in the fall of 2018 as part of a philosophy of music education class. It is my most recent attempt at providing a general framework for my music teaching and learning.
